Exam Details:
The CTET February 2026 exam was conducted in two shifts. Paper II (Classes 6–8) was held in Shift 1 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and Paper I (Classes 1–5) was held in Shift 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
The exam was conducted across 140 cities at 1,803 examination centres all over the country.
Key exam pattern points:
- Total marks: 150 per paper
- All questions are MCQ type — 4 options, 1 correct answer
- Each correct answer: +1 mark

- Duration: 2.5 hours per paper
Re-Exam Update:
CBSE could not conduct Paper II at two centres in Vaishali district, Bihar — Centre No. 125014 (Lakshya International Academy) and Centre No. 125016 (St. John’s Academy, Basmati Nagar) — on 7 February 2026 due to administrative reasons. A re-examination was conducted for these affected candidates on 1 March 2026. The result will cover all candidates including those who appeared in the re-exam.
