Eligibility Criteria – Post-Wise Education Qualification
Stenographer
Candidates must have passed Second PUC (Pre-University Course) or hold a 3-year Diploma equivalent. Additionally, they must have cleared the Senior Grade exam in both Kannada and English shorthand and typewriting conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB). Candidates holding a Diploma in Commercial Practice or Secretarial Practice are also eligible if they have passed the Senior Grade typing and shorthand exams in both Kannada and English.
Typist
Candidates must have passed Second PUC or hold any equivalent 3-year Diploma. They must also clear the Senior Grade Kannada and English typewriting subjects conducted by KSEEB. Candidates with a Diploma in Commercial Practice or Secretarial Practice, who have already cleared typewriting in one language (Kannada or English), must pass typewriting in the remaining language as well.
Typist & Copyist
Candidates must have passed 2nd PUC, a 3-year Diploma, or equivalent. They need proficiency in both Kannada and English typing — specifically, they must have cleared the Junior Grade examinations conducted by KSEEB. For Diploma in Commercial Practice or Secretarial Practice holders who cleared typing in one language, clearing the remaining language’s Junior Grade exam is mandatory.
Peon
Candidates must have passed the SSLC examination conducted by KSEEB or an equivalent board. They must read and write Kannada — a written test on Kannada reading, writing, and general knowledge will be part of the selection.
