ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates must meet the educational qualification and age limit as on the cutoff date (05-01-2026).

Educational Qualification:

  • Clerk: Must possess a University Degree from any recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates holding a Degree in Law.
  • Peon: Must have the ability to read and write the Marathi language. : Basic education required.
  • Driver: 10th Pass with a valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) driving license and a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
  • Steno Lower Grade: Graduate degree with knowledge of shorthand.
  • Steno Higher Grade: Must possess a University Degree. This condition may be relaxed if the candidate is already working for not less than 5 years as a Lower Grade Stenographer in the High Court or a related office. Preference is given to candidates possessing a Degree in Law.

Age Limit (as on 05-01-2026):

  • Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 38 Years

Age Relaxation:

  • Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules of the Bombay High Court/Government norms.

SALARY / PAY SCALE :

The pay scale varies significantly for each post:

  • Clerk / Driver: S-10 ( INR 29,200 – INR. 92,300/-) Plus admissible allowances.
  • Peon: INR. 16,600 – INR. 52,500/-
  • Steno Lower Grade: S-18 (INR. 49,100 – INR. 1,55,800/-) Plus admissible allowances.
  • Steno Higher Grade: S-20 (INR. 56,100 – INR. 1,77,500/-) Plus admissible allowances.

SELECTION PROCESS
