Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria — Who Can Apply

You must satisfy all four conditions below to be eligible:

Educational Qualification You need 10+2 (Intermediate or Higher Secondary) from a recognised board. Alternatively, candidates who have passed the old equivalent of 10+2 along with their first year of graduation from a recognised university also qualify.

Computer Diploma A one-year Diploma or Certificate in Data Entry Operator or Programming from a recognised institution is mandatory.

Hindi Typing Speed You must clock a minimum Hindi typing speed of 5,000 key depressions per hour on computer. This is a skill test requirement — not just a certificate.

Shorthand Speed Hindi or English shorthand on computer and software at 5,000 key depressions per hour is also required. You need to clear this skill test during the selection process.

Age Limit

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 35 years as on 01 January 2026.

The government extends age relaxations to the following categories:

SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer, Chhattisgarh domicile) candidates get 5 additional years. Women belonging to Chhattisgarh domicile get a 10-year relaxation. Widow, divorced, or abandoned women get 5 years extra. Ex-servicemen get credit for the length of their service, subject to a maximum of 3 years. State government contractual, contingency, or project employees can apply up to 38 years of age. Education and Panchayat department workers get relaxation equal to their service length, with an overall cap at 45 years. The maximum permissible age after any relaxation is 45 years under any category.

Salary

Selected candidates draw a pay in the scale of Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 per month along with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900 at Matrix Level-04.
