Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfil all three of the following conditions to be eligible:

Condition 1 – Schooling: Passed Senior Secondary (10+2 / Part-II) or equivalent examination from a recognised Board or university.

Condition 2 – Nursing Qualification (either of the two):

• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognised university or institution, OR
• B.Sc Nursing from a recognised university or institution.

Important: Nursing degree or diploma obtained through distance learning / correspondence mode will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Condition 3 – Registration: Must be registered as Nurse and Midwife with the Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC), Chandigarh, established under the Punjab Nurses Registration Act, 1932.

Language Requirement: As per Punjab Government norms, candidates must have passed Punjabi as a subject at Matriculation (10th) level.
