According to the official notification, the online application process began on 16 December 2025 through the MDL Apprentice Portal. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online, and the last date to apply is 05 January 2026.

Educational Qualification
Diploma Apprentices
- Diploma in Engineering or Technology in relevant discipline
- Diploma must be recognised by AICTE / State Board / Govt. of India
Graduate Apprentices (Engineering)
- Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised university or institution
Graduate Apprentices (General Stream)
- Degree in B.Com, BBA, BCA, or BSW from a recognised university

Selection Process
The selection of apprentices will be based on:
- Merit List
- Document Verification
- Interview
Merit Calculation
- 80% marks from qualifying examination
- 20% marks from interview
Shortlisted candidates will be informed via registered email ID and MDL website.
